16 And if any man said unto him, Let them burn the fat according to the [a]custom, then take as much as thine heart [b]desireth: then he would answer, No, but thou shalt give it now: and if thou wilt not, I will take it by force.

17 Therefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord: for men [c]abhorred the offering of the Lord.

18 ¶ Now Samuel being a young child ministered before the Lord, girded with a linen (A)Ephod.
