¹⁹ Now then, please let my lord the king listen to the words of his servant. If ^(A)the Lord has incited you against me, ^(B)may He ^[a]accept an offering; but ^(C)if it is ^[b]people, cursed ^[c]are they before the Lord, because ^(D)they have driven me out today so that I would have no share in the inheritance of the Lord, saying, ‘Go, serve other gods.’

¹⁶ For the king will listen, to save his slave from the ^[a]hand of the man who would eliminate ^[b]both me and my son from ^(A)the inheritance of God.’

³ David said to the Gibeonites, “What should I do for you? And how can I make amends, so that you will bless ^(A)the inheritance of the Lord?”
