11 And Yahweh said to Samuel, “Behold, (A)I am about to do a thing in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. 12 In that day (B)I will establish against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end. 13 And (C)I have told him that I am about to judge his house forever for (D)the iniquity which he knew because (E)his sons have been bringing a curse on themselves, but (F)he did not rebuke them.

New International Version
11 And the Lord said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle.(A) 12 At that time I will carry out against Eli everything(B) I spoke against his family—from beginning to end. 13 For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God,[a] and he failed to restrain(C) them.
