21 And she named the child [a]Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel, because the Ark of God was taken, and because of her father-in-law and her husband.
22 She said again, [b]The glory is departed from Israel: for the Ark of God is taken.

21 She named the boy Ichabod,[a](A) saying, “The Glory(B) has departed from Israel”—because of the capture of the ark of God and the deaths of her father-in-law and her husband. 22 She said, “The Glory(C) has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured.”(D)
