1 Samuel 7:9-10
New International Version
9 Then Samuel(A) took a suckling lamb and sacrificed it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. He cried out to the Lord on Israel’s behalf, and the Lord answered him.(B)
10 While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the Lord thundered(C) with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic(D) that they were routed before the Israelites.
James 5:16-20

16 Therefore confess your sins(A) to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.(B) The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.(C)
