9 (A)Kabona n’amuddamu nti, “Ekitala kya Goliyaasi Omufirisuuti gwe wattira mu kiwonvu Era, weekiri wano; kisabikiddwa mu lugoye emabega w’ekkanzu ey’obwakabona eyitibwa efodi. Bw’oba ng’okyetaaga, kitwale. Tewaliwo kitala kirala wabula ekyo.”
Dawudi n’ayogera nti, “Tewali kikyenkana; kimpe.”

9 The priest replied, “The sword(A) of Goliath(B) the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah,(C) is here; it is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want it, take it; there is no sword here but that one.”
