14 For you, brothers and sisters, became (A)imitators of (B)the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are (C)in Judea, for (D)you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, (E)even as they did from the Jews, 15 (F)who both killed the Lord Jesus and (G)the prophets, and [a]drove us out. [b]They are not pleasing to God, [c]but hostile to all people, 16 (H)hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles (I)so that they may be saved; with the result that they always [d](J)reach the limit of their sins. They displease God and are hostile to everyone 16 in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles(F) so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit.(G) The wrath of God has come upon them at last.[a]
