4 and learn how to control your own body in a pure[a] and respectable way. 5 Don’t be controlled by your sexual urges like the Gentiles who don’t know God. 6 No one should mistreat or take advantage of their brother or sister in this issue. The Lord punishes people for all these things, as we told you before and sternly warned you.

4 that each of you should learn to control your own body[a](A) in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust(B) like the pagans,(C) who do not know God;(D) 6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister.[b](E) The Lord will punish(F) all those who commit such sins,(G) as we told you and warned you before.
