⁸But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, ^(A)having put on the breastplate of ^(B)faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.

⁸But since we belong to the day,^(A) let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate,^(B) and the hope of salvation^(C) as a helmet.^(D)

²And ^(A)walk in love, ^(B)as Christ loved us and ^(C)gave himself up for us, a ^(D)fragrant ^(E)offering and sacrifice to God.
