1 Timothy 2:11-15 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

11 A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13 For it was Adam who was first [a]created, and then Eve. 14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was [b]deceived and [c]became a wrongdoer. 15 But [d]women will be [e]preserved through [f]childbirth—if they continue in faith, love, and sanctity, with moderation.

1 Timothy 2:11-15 New International Version (NIV)

11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women[c] will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
