8 Training the body has some value. But being godly has value in every way. It promises help for the life you are now living and the life to come. 9 This is the truth you can trust and accept completely. 10 This is why we work and try so hard. It’s because we have put our hope in the living God. He is the Savior of all people. Most of all, he is the Savior of those who believe.

8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things,(A) holding promise for both the present life(B) and the life to come.(C) 9 This is a trustworthy saying(D) that deserves full acceptance. 10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God,(E) who is the Savior of all people,(F) and especially of those who believe.
