8 Physical exercise, you see, has a limited usefulness, but godliness is useful in every way. It carries the promise of life both now and in the future. 9 That saying is trustworthy; it deserves to be accepted totally! 10 This is what we are working and struggling for, you see, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the savior of all people—more especially, of believers.

8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things,(A) holding promise for both the present life(B) and the life to come.(C) 9 This is a trustworthy saying(D) that deserves full acceptance. 10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God,(E) who is the Savior of all people,(F) and especially of those who believe.
