13 And at the same time also they are learning to be idle[a], while going-around the houses. And not only idle, but also babblers and busybodies— speaking the things not being proper. 14 Therefore, I want younger widows to marry, to bear-children, to manage-the-house[b], to give to the one opposing no opportunity for the sake of reviling[c]. 15 For some already turned-aside after Satan.

13 Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies(A) who talk nonsense,(B) saying things they ought not to. 14 So I counsel younger widows to marry,(C) to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander.(D) 15 Some have in fact already turned away to follow Satan.(E)
