²² Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.

²³ Ephraim had sex with his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. He named him Beriah, because misfortune had come to his house. ²⁴ His daughter was Sheerah. She built both Lower and Upper Beth-horon and Uzzen-sheerah.
