¹⁴ If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, ^(A)he will receive a reward.

^58 (A)Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in ^(B)the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord ^(C)your labour is not in vain.

⁸ Watch yourselves, ^(A)so that you may not lose what we^[a] have worked for, but ^(B)may win a full reward.

⁵ Therefore ^(A)do not pronounce judgement before the time, ^(B)before the Lord comes, ^(C)who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. ^(D)Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

⁴ But let each one ^(A)test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbour. ⁵ For ^(B)each will have to bear his own load.

^27 (A)For the Son of Man is going to come with ^(B)his angels in the glory of his Father, and ^(C)then he will repay each person according to what he has done.
