¹⁴ If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will ^(A)receive a reward.

⁵ Therefore ^(A)do not go on ^[a]passing judgment before ^[b]the time, but wait ^(B)until the Lord comes, who will both ^(C)bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of human hearts; and then ^(D)praise will come to each person from God.

¹⁷ For if I do this voluntarily, I have a ^(A)reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a ^(B)commission nonetheless.

⁴ But each one must ^(A)examine his own work, and then he will have reason for ^(B)boasting, but ^[a]to himself alone, and not ^[b]to another.
