1 Kings 14:25-28

^25 (A)It happened in the fifth year of King Rehoboam that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem. ^26 (B)And he took away the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king’s house; he took away everything. He also took away all the gold shields ^(C)which Solomon had made. ²⁷ Then King Rehoboam made bronze shields in their place, and ^[a]committed them to the hands of the captains of the ^[b]guard, who guarded the doorway of the king’s house. ²⁸ And whenever the king entered the house of the Lord, the guards carried them, then brought them back into the guardroom.
