¹⁸ Then Asa took all the silver and gold that was left in the treasuries of the house of the Lord and the treasuries of the king’s house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants. And King Asa sent them to ^(A)Ben-Hadad the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who dwelt in ^(B)Damascus, saying,

⁸ And Ahaz ^(A)took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the Lord, and in the treasuries of the king’s house, and sent it as a present to the king of Assyria.

¹⁵ So Hezekiah ^(A)gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the Lord and in the treasuries of the king’s house.

¹⁶ At that time Hezekiah stripped the gold from the doors of the temple of the Lord, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave ^[a]it to the king of Assyria.
