¹³ In addition, I will give you what you did not ask for: both riches and honor,^(A) so that no king will be your equal during your entire life.^(B)

²⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things,^(A) when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne,^(B) you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁹ “Truly I tell you,”^(A) Jesus said, “there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father^[a] or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the gospel,^(B)

²⁹ So he said to them, “Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left a house, wife or brothers or sisters, parents or children because of the kingdom of God,

⁸ For the training of the body has limited benefit,^(A) but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.^(B)
