⁵¹ So all the work King Solomon did in the Lord’s temple was completed.^(A) Then Solomon brought in the consecrated things of his father David^(B)—the silver, the gold, and the utensils—and put them in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple.^(C)

²⁶ He seized the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and the treasuries of the royal palace. He took everything. He took all the gold shields that Solomon had made.^(A)

¹⁸ So King Joash of Judah took all the consecrated items that his ancestors—Judah’s kings Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah—had consecrated, along with his own consecrated items and all the gold found in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and in the king’s palace, and he sent them to Hazael king of Aram.^(A) Then Hazael withdrew from Jerusalem.
