⁵ and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing^(A) so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.

⁷ Josiah provided for all the lay people who were there a total of thirty thousand lambs and goats for the Passover offerings,^(A) and also three thousand cattle—all from the king’s own possessions.^(B)

¹⁷ For the dedication of this house of God they offered^(A) a hundred bulls, two hundred rams, four hundred male lambs and, as a sin offering^[a] for all Israel, twelve male goats, one for each of the tribes of Israel.

³⁵ Then the exiles who had returned from captivity sacrificed burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls^(A) for all Israel,^(B) ninety-six rams, seventy-seven male lambs and, as a sin offering,^[a] twelve male goats.^(C) All this was a burnt offering to the Lord.
