³⁵ From this day forward we also release them from the payment of other revenues that are due to us—that is, tithes, and tribute, the tax on the salt pits, and the crown taxes. ³⁶ These provisions shall be irrevocable from this moment for all time. ³⁷ Be sure, therefore, to have a copy of them made and given to Jonathan, so that it may be displayed in a conspicuous place on the holy mountain.’ ”
