Common English Bible
50 “Give us peace, and make the Jews stop fighting against us.” 51 They threw down their weapons and made peace. So the Jews received honor from the king and all the people in his kingdom. They returned to Jerusalem with a large amount of treasure.
52 So King Demetrius sat on the throne of his kingdom, and the land was peaceful before him.
