⁵ “After that you will come to the Hill of God^[a](A) where there are Philistine garrisons.^[b] When you arrive at the city, you will meet a group of prophets^(B) coming down from the high place prophesying.^(C) They will be preceded by harps, tambourines, flutes, and lyres. ⁶ The Spirit of the Lord will control you,^(D) you will prophesy with them,^(E) and you will be transformed into a different person.^(F)

¹⁰ When Saul and his attendant arrived at Gibeah, a group of prophets met him. Then the Spirit of God took control of him, and he prophesied along with them.
