¹⁰     those who oppose the Lord will be broken.^(A)
The Most High will thunder^(B) from heaven;
    the Lord will judge^(C) the ends of the earth.

“He will give strength^(D) to his king
    and exalt the horn^(E) of his anointed.”

¹³ The Lord thundered^(A) from heaven;
    the voice of the Most High resounded.^[a]

⁶ Nations^(A) are in uproar,^(B) kingdoms^(C) fall;
    he lifts his voice,^(D) the earth melts.^(E)

³³ to him who rides^(A) across the highest heavens, the ancient heavens,
    who thunders^(B) with mighty voice.^(C)

¹⁷ The clouds poured down water,^(A)
    the heavens resounded with thunder;^(B)
    your arrows^(C) flashed back and forth.

¹³ When he thunders,^(A) the waters in the heavens roar;
    he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth.
He sends lightning^(B) with the rain^(C)
    and brings out the wind from his storehouses.^(D)

“‘The Lord will roar^(A) from on high;
    he will thunder^(B) from his holy dwelling^(C)
    and roar mightily against his land.
He will shout like those who tread^(D) the grapes,
    shout against all who live on the earth.

¹¹ The Lord^(A) thunders^(B)
    at the head of his army;^(C)
his forces are beyond number,
    and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the Lord is great;^(D)
    it is dreadful.
    Who can endure it?^(E)

“The Lord roars^(A) from Zion
    and thunders^(B) from Jerusalem;^(C)
the pastures of the shepherds dry up,
    and the top of Carmel^(D) withers.”^(E)
