Guard the Heritage

²⁰ Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you,^(A) avoiding^(B) irreverent, empty speech and contradictions from the “knowledge” that falsely bears that name.^(C)

¹⁴ Guard, through the Holy Spirit who lives in us, that good thing entrusted to you.

¹⁵ Watch out^(A) for him yourself because he strongly opposed our words.

¹⁷ Therefore, dear friends, since you know this in advance, be on your guard,^(A) so that you are not led away by the error of lawless people and fall from your own stability.

²¹ Little children, guard yourselves from idols.
