20 Abishai the brother of Joab was head of the three[a] elite warriors. He killed 300 men with his spear[b] and gained fame along with the three elite warriors.[c]

20 Abishai(A) the brother of Joab was chief of the Three. He raised his spear against three hundred men, whom he killed, and so he became as famous as the Three.
