2 Chronicles 1:15-17
New Living Translation
15 The king made silver and gold as plentiful in Jerusalem as stone. And valuable cedar timber was as common as the sycamore-fig trees that grow in the foothills of Judah.[a] 16 Solomon’s horses were imported from Egypt[b] and from Cilicia[c]; the king’s traders acquired them from Cilicia at the standard price. 17 At that time chariots from Egypt could be purchased for 600 pieces of silver,[d] and horses for 150 pieces of silver.[e] They were then exported to the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Aram.

15 The king made silver and gold(A) as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as plentiful as sycamore-fig trees in the foothills. 16 Solomon’s horses were imported from Egypt and from Kue[a]—the royal merchants purchased them from Kue at the current price. 17 They imported a chariot(B) from Egypt for six hundred shekels[b] of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty.[c] They also exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and of the Arameans.
