Now David had brought the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim to the place[a] he had set up for it, because he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem,(A) but he put[b] the bronze altar, which Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, had made,(B) in front of the Lord’s tabernacle. Solomon and the assembly inquired of him[c] there. Solomon offered sacrifices there in the Lord’s presence on the bronze altar at the tent of meeting; he offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.(C)

But the bronze altar(C) that Bezalel(D) son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was in Gibeon in front of the tabernacle of the Lord; so Solomon and the assembly inquired(E) of him there. Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord in the tent of meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.
