¹⁰ Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in ^[a]prison, for he was enraged at him for this. And Asa mistreated some of the people at the same time.

²⁵ Then the king of Israel said, “^(A)Take Micaiah and return him to Amon ^(B)the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son; ²⁶ and say, ‘This is what the king says: “^(C)Put this man in prison, and feed him enough bread and water to survive until I ^[a]return safely.”’” ²⁷ But Micaiah said, “If you actually return ^[b]safely, the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said, “^[c](D)Listen, all you people!”
