2 Chronicles 16:9-11

9 The Lord carefully watches over the whole earth. If people serve him faithfully, he makes them strong. But you have done a foolish thing. As a result, you will now always be fighting wars.’
10 Asa was angry with the prophet, so he put him in prison. At that time Asa also started to do cruel things to some people.

11 All the things that happened while Asa was king are written in a book. The book is called ‘The history of the kings of Judah and Israel’.

New International Version
9 For the eyes(A) of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish(B) thing, and from now on you will be at war.(C)”
10 Asa was angry with the seer because of this; he was so enraged that he put him in prison.(D) At the same time Asa brutally oppressed some of the people.
11 The events of Asa’s reign, from beginning to end, are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
