9 The Lord! It is his eyes that go back and forth over all the earth to offer strong support to the hearts of those who are completely committed to[a] him. You have acted foolishly in this. From now on you will be at war.”
10 Asa was angry with the seer, so he put him in prison because he was in a rage against him on account of this. At this time Asa also crushed some of the people.

9 For the eyes(A) of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish(B) thing, and from now on you will be at war.(C)”
10 Asa was angry with the seer because of this; he was so enraged that he put him in prison.(D) At the same time Asa brutally oppressed some of the people.
11 The events of Asa’s reign, from beginning to end, are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
