2 Chronicles 16:9-11
The Voice
9 The Eternal watches everything that happens on earth so that He may strongly support those who follow Him. By hiring mercenaries, you have acted foolishly and proven that you are not following Him. From now on, peace will elude you and you will surely fight wars.
10 Asa was enraged by the seer’s vision. He imprisoned Hanani and cruelly oppressed some of his people.
11 The actions of Asa, from his birth to his death, are recorded in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

2 Chronicles 16:9-11
New International Version
9 For the eyes(A) of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish(B) thing, and from now on you will be at war.(C)”
10 Asa was angry with the seer because of this; he was so enraged that he put him in prison.(D) At the same time Asa brutally oppressed some of the people.
11 The events of Asa’s reign, from beginning to end, are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
