6 [a]He took great pride in the ways of the Lord, and again (A)removed the high places and the [b]Asherim from Judah.
7 Then in the third year of his reign he sent his officials, Ben-hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Micaiah, (B)to teach in the cities of Judah; 8 and with them (C)the Levites, Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, the Levites; and with them the priests Elishama and Jehoram.

6 His heart was devoted(A) to the ways of the Lord; furthermore, he removed the high places(B) and the Asherah poles(C) from Judah.(D)
7 In the third year of his reign he sent his officials Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel and Micaiah to teach(E) in the towns of Judah. 8 With them were certain Levites(F)—Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah and Tob-Adonijah—and the priests Elishama and Jehoram.
