²¹But they plotted against him, and by order of the king they stoned^(A) him to death^(B) in the courtyard of the Lord’s temple.^(C)

²⁰His servants arose, devised a conspiracy, and killed Joash in the house of Millo, on the way that goes down to Silla.^(A)

²⁰His officials^(A) conspired against him and assassinated^(B) him at Beth Millo,^(C) on the road down to Silla.
