⁹ But a prophet of the Lord was there, whose name was Oded; and ^(A)he went out to meet the army which came to Samaria and said to them, “Behold, because the Lord, the God of your fathers, ^(B)was angry with Judah, He has handed them over to you, and you have killed them in a rage ^(C)which has even reached heaven.

¹³ And after everything that has come upon us for our evil deeds and ^(A)our great guilt, since You our God have spared us by inflicting less than our wrongdoing deserves, and have given us such ^(B)an escaped remnant as this,

¹⁵ Lord God of Israel, ^(A)You are righteous, for we have been left an escaped remnant, as it is this day; behold, we are before You in ^(B)our guilt, for ^(C)no one can stand before You because of this.”

⁵ for her sins have ^[a](A)piled up as high as heaven, and God has ^(B)remembered her offenses.
