All Israel Invited to the Passover

30 Now Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem to ^[a]celebrate the Passover to the Lord God of Israel.

^6 (A)The ^[a]couriers went throughout all Israel and Judah with the letters from the hand of the king and his princes, even according to the command of the king, saying, “O sons of Israel, return to the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, that He may return to those of you who escaped and are left from ^(B)the ^[b]hand of the kings of Assyria.

The Feast of Purim Instituted

²⁰ Then Mordecai recorded these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews who were in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, both near and far,

²⁵ “Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Because you have sent ^(A)letters in your own name to all the people who are in Jerusalem, and to ^(B)Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, and to all the priests, saying,
