The people prepare for the Passover festival

30 Hezekiah sent a message to all the people of Israel and Judah. He also wrote letters to the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. He told them to come to the Lord's temple in Jerusalem. They must come to worship the Lord, Israel's God, at the Passover festival. The king, his officers and all the people who lived in Jerusalem decided to have the Passover festival in the second month.[a]

Hezekiah Celebrates the Passover
