25 But Hezekiah (A)did not repay according to the favor shown him, for (B)his heart was lifted up; (C)therefore wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem. 26 (D)Then Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them (E)in the days of Hezekiah.

25 But Hezekiah’s heart was proud(A) and he did not respond to the kindness shown him; therefore the Lord’s wrath(B) was on him and on Judah and Jerusalem. 26 Then Hezekiah repented(C) of the pride of his heart, as did the people of Jerusalem; therefore the Lord’s wrath did not come on them during the days of Hezekiah.(D)
