30 This same Hezekiah blocked the upper outlet of the water from the Gihon Spring(A) and channeled it smoothly downward and westward to the city of David.(B) Hezekiah succeeded in everything he did. 31 When the ambassadors of Babylon’s rulers(C) were sent[a] to him to inquire about the miraculous sign(D) that happened in the land, God left him to test him and discover what was in his heart.(E)

Hezekiah’s Death

32 As for the rest of the events(F) of Hezekiah’s reign and his deeds of faithful love, note that they are written in the Visions of the Prophet Isaiah son of Amoz,(G) and in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.(H)

He succeeded in everything he undertook. 31 But when envoys were sent by the rulers of Babylon(D) to ask him about the miraculous sign(E) that had occurred in the land, God left him to test(F) him and to know everything that was in his heart.

32 The other events of Hezekiah’s reign and his acts of devotion are written in the vision of the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
