^9 (A)They put him in a cage with ^[a]chains,
And brought him to the king of Babylon;
They brought him in nets,
That his voice should no longer be heard on ^(B)the mountains of Israel.

⁴ But ^(A)I will put hooks in your jaws,
And cause the fish of your rivers to stick to your scales;
I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers,
And all the fish in your rivers will stick to your scales.

^2 (A)The Lord God has sworn by His holiness:
“Behold, the days shall come upon you
When He will take you away ^(B)with fishhooks,
And your posterity with fishhooks.
