3 For (A)he rebuilt the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; (B)he also erected altars for the Baals and made [a]Asherim, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. 4 (C)He built altars in the house of the Lord of which the Lord had said, “My name shall be (D)in Jerusalem forever.” 5 For he built altars for all the host of heaven in (E)the two courts of the house of the Lord.

New International Version
3 He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had demolished; he also erected altars to the Baals and made Asherah poles.(A) He bowed down(B) to all the starry hosts and worshiped them. 4 He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, “My Name(C) will remain in Jerusalem forever.” 5 In both courts of the temple of the Lord,(D) he built altars to all the starry hosts.
