Then Josiah (A)gave the lay people lambs and young goats from the flock, all for Passover offerings for all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, as well as three thousand cattle; these were from the king’s (B)possessions. And his (C)leaders gave willingly to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites. Hilkiah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave to the priests for the Passover offerings two thousand six hundred from the flock, and three hundred cattle. Also (D)Conaniah, his brothers Shemaiah and Nethanel, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave to the Levites for Passover offerings five thousand from the flock and five hundred cattle.

Josiah provided for all the lay people who were there a total of thirty thousand lambs and goats for the Passover offerings,(A) and also three thousand cattle—all from the king’s own possessions.(B)

His officials also contributed(C) voluntarily to the people and the priests and Levites. Hilkiah,(D) Zechariah and Jehiel, the officials in charge of God’s temple, gave the priests twenty-six hundred Passover offerings and three hundred cattle. Also Konaniah(E) along with Shemaiah and Nethanel, his brothers, and Hashabiah, Jeiel and Jozabad,(F) the leaders of the Levites, provided five thousand Passover offerings and five hundred head of cattle for the Levites.
