18 All the utensils of the house of God, large and small, the treasures of the Lord’s house, and the treasures of the king and his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.(A) 19 They burnt the house of God, tore down the walls of Jerusalem, burnt down all its palaces, and destroyed all its precious objects.(B) 20 Those who escaped the sword he carried captive to Babylon, where they became servants to him and his sons until the Persian kingdom came to power.

18 He carried to Babylon all the articles(A) from the temple of God, both large and small, and the treasures of the Lord’s temple and the treasures of the king and his officials. 19 They set fire(B) to God’s temple(C) and broke down the wall(D) of Jerusalem; they burned all the palaces and destroyed(E) everything of value there.(F)
20 He carried into exile(G) to Babylon the remnant, who escaped from the sword, and they became servants(H) to him and his successors until the kingdom of Persia came to power.
