5 It was a hand’s breadth in thickness, and its rim was like that of a cup—lily-shaped. It could hold three thousand baths.[a]
6 He also made ten basins for washing, placing five on the right and five on the left. These were to be employed to rinse what would be used for the burnt offerings. However, the sea was for the priests to wash in.
7 Then he made ten lampstands of gold as prescribed and placed them in the temple, five on the right side and five on the left.

5 It was a handbreadth[a] in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths.[b]
6 He then made ten basins(A) for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. In them the things to be used for the burnt offerings(B) were rinsed, but the Sea was to be used by the priests for washing.
7 He made ten gold lampstands(C) according to the specifications(D) for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.
