5 It was a handbreadth thick, and the brim was like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held 3,000 vats. 6 He also made ten basins for washing and placed five on the right side and five on the left. In them the items used for the burnt offering were rinsed, but the kohanim washed in “the Sea”.
7 Next he made the ten menorot[a] of gold in the manner prescribed for them and set them in the Temple, five on the right hand and five on the left.

5 It was a handbreadth[a] in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths.[b]
6 He then made ten basins(A) for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. In them the things to be used for the burnt offerings(B) were rinsed, but the Sea was to be used by the priests for washing.
7 He made ten gold lampstands(C) according to the specifications(D) for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.
