29 whatever prayer, whatever plea there is from any individual or from all your people Israel, all knowing their own suffering and their own sorrows so that they stretch out their hands toward this house; 30 then hear from heaven, your dwelling place, forgive, and render to all whose hearts you know, according to all their ways, for only you know the human heart.(A) 31 Thus may they fear you and walk in your ways all the days that they live in the land that you gave to our ancestors.

29 and when a prayer or plea is made by anyone among your people Israel—being aware of their afflictions and pains, and spreading out their hands toward this temple— 30 then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive,(A) and deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know their hearts (for you alone know the human heart),(B) 31 so that they will fear you(C) and walk in obedience to you all the time they live in the land you gave our ancestors.
