2 Chronicles 7:18-20
New Century Version
18 If you do, I will make your kingdom strong. This is the agreement I made with your father David, saying, ‘Someone from your family will always rule in Israel.’
19 “But you must follow me and obey the laws and commands I have given you. You must not serve or worship other gods. 20 If you do, I will take the Israelites out of my land, the land I have given them, and I will leave this Temple that I have made holy. All the nations will make fun of it and speak evil about it.

New International Version
18 I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted(A) with David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor(B) to rule over Israel.’(C)
19 “But if you[a] turn away(D) and forsake(E) the decrees and commands I have given you[b] and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot(F) Israel from my land,(G) which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule(H) among all peoples.
