2 Chronicles 9:25-27

International Standard Version

²⁵Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses and chariots, along with 12,000 cavalry soldiers. He stationed them in various chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. ²⁶King Solomon^[a] ruled over all the kings from the Euphrates^[b] River west^[c] to the land of the Philistines and as far south as the boundary with Egypt.

²⁷The king made silver as common as^[d] stones in Jerusalem, and made cedar trees as abundant as sycamore trees in the Shephelah.^[e]

²⁵Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots,^(A) and twelve thousand horses,^[a] which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. ²⁶He ruled^(B) over all the kings from the Euphrates River^(C) to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.^(D) ²⁷The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as plentiful as sycamore-fig trees in the foothills.
