25 Now Solomon had (A)4,000 stalls for horses and chariots and 12,000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 26 (B)He was the ruler over all the kings from the Euphrates River even to the land of the Philistines, and as far as the border of Egypt. 27 (C)The king made silver as common as stones in Jerusalem, and he made cedars as plentiful as sycamore trees that are in the [a]lowland.

25 Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots,(A) and twelve thousand horses,[a] which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. 26 He ruled(B) over all the kings from the Euphrates River(C) to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.(D) 27 The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as plentiful as sycamore-fig trees in the foothills.
